Historical Figures
182 cards to collect. Free, in your browser.
The people history kept: conquerors and sovereigns, scholars and artists, explorers, thinkers, writers and revolutionaries, in portraits painted, engraved and photographed under open licences. A card's rarity crosses two public measures: what the world looks up (Wikipedia views across ten languages) and what encyclopaedias document (the number of language versions). Either one alone gets it wrong, and the set would have Cleopatra as a common card. The star marks depth of time instead: the figures whose memory has crossed the most centuries, from Hammurabi to Cleopatra.

How it plays
COLLEC is a free trading card game that runs online with nothing to install. You open packs, fill out your sets, put your duplicates up for auction and take on other players in duels. You can play all of it without paying.
A card gets its rarity from public data, and every card shows you which number it came from.
